Honored and thrilled to have completed my first 10 week classroom session integrating literacy, social- emotional wellness, and performing arts with The Boch Center. My coworker and I designed weekly lesson plans and helped coordinate a devised showcase with our class of thirty 2nd graders. It was a delight to track our students' growth in presentation, character building, dance and ensemble work. While the students could often struggle in controlling their voices and bodies in an open creative space, it allowed me to find my dynamic as an educator. This contract solidified how vital it is to lead with kindness and empathy so that students recognize how much I love the craft, as well as embracing the professional identity as a teaching artist.
Global Livestream: World Read Aloud Day 2025

Through innovative storytelling techniques, I brought stories to life in Boston-area neighborhoods as a professional teaching artist. Our live Interactive Reading of 'Going Places' by Peter and Paul Reynolds reached over 1,200 students at the Shubert Theater in Boston, MA, and over 10 countries around the world! Me and the Boch Center Educational team worked diligently over 3 weeks to compose content that engages preschool-5th grade audiences, the performance has been regarded as "the best read aloud day we've ever had". South Africa Tour: new hampshire friendship chorus scholar
July 4th - July 17th, 2024
Singing and touring with the New Hampshire Friendship Chorus as one of their scholarship recipients has been one of the highlights of my life so far. We toured the various provinces of South Africa and connected with communities from Soweto, Johannesburg, Thembaletu, Cape Town, George and more! The group rehearsed for two months and prepared 12 pieces to perform in English, Zulu and Xhosa. The group also had the opportunity to hike along the Indian ocean, participate in local fundraisers for schools and even go on a game drive. Music and performance can transcend language, to be able to share our culture and receive other's with such open arms is a gift I will remember forever!

Gypsy: A mUsical Fable Louise & GYpsy Rose Lee
January 17-21, 2024
This was my first professional production as a college graduate playing an ingénue as an openly queer gender fluid actor! I was honored with the responsibility of playing the transformative Louise & Gypsy Rose Lee under the direction of Dr. Trish Lindberg's final production with the Educational Theater Collaborative. This role was a stellar reminder of how much I love and care for the craft of musical theater, an art form I have been studying since 6 years old. I am thankful to Louise and Gypsy not only because they opened me up to career opportunities, but for they lessons they taught about resilience, passion, and being "very versatile" (that's a line from the show :) ).

THEATER INTEGRATING GUIDANCE, EDUCATION AND RESPONSIBILITY (T.I.G.E.R.) AT PLYMOUTH STATE UNIVERISTY
September 2023 - May 2024
T.I.G.E.R. is an Emmy Award winning educational theater troupe that tours to K-6 schools in New England where I was an actor, audio engineer, and assistant social media manager. I worked with our director Dr. Trish Lindberg, Assistant Director Michael Stoddard, Choreographer Trent Soyster, and Workshop Coach Bethany Nelson for our tour season. The 2023-2024 Ensemble featured: Michael Stoddard, Olivia Etchings, Mariam Masroor, and Thomas Andrews. We had ninety-eight Elementary performances, fifty-five workshops, and traveled over twenty thousand miles throughout the season.
Having the opportunity to work with this company months after completing my degree in this field has been so rewarding. It has taught me so much about troubleshooting on the road, the early childhood education system, and the importance of arts in education. A special memory was performing our production "Choose Love" and watching kindergarten audience members make a heart with their hands for the first time. I will cherish this contract and the connections I have made with it for a very long time.

On May 14th 2023, I graduated Emerson College with a Bachelors of Fine Arts In Acting with a minor in Dance! As a first generation, low income student, the above picture honors both the work, me, and my mother have dedicated to my education. I could not have completed such a prestigious degree without her sacrifices; this degree is for the both of us. I am featured wearing my stoll from Zeta Phi Eta: Alpha Chapter gender inclusive professional fraternity where I served as Philanthropy Chair and Vice President. I am also adorned with pins: Keith Haring's Dancing Dog, Peter Pan (1953), LGBTQIA+ Flag, and my Emerson College Pin. Lastly, I am wearing a LGBTQIA Cord, representing my queer and trans identities.
